My frustrations with the LEGO® Company

As much as I like Legos I have some frustrations with the LEGO® Company. First their sets are WAY Overpriced. Just look at the new Pirates set “Brickbeard's Bounty”. It has 592 pieces and costs $100.00!!! That’s around $1.00 for six pieces, and some of those pieces are as small as half an inch. My Batman set has over 300 pieces and it only cost $20.00.I think the price for “Brickbeard's Bounty” should be about $30.00.

Second the new games on the website are boring. For example, in the Power Miners game, Rock Rocket, you are a Rock Monster who merely floats in the air, collecting crystals. In the old Dino Attack game you drive around in vehicles shooting at dinos and collecting dino eggs. You interact with your surroundings instead of mindlessly floating in the air like Rock Rocket. LEGO® has taken some of these more interactive games OFF!! The website. I rarely go to the games page anymore; instead I go to My Lego Network.

My third frustration has to do with the message boards. I have had no trouble posted to the message board forums. But whenever I try to make my own forum (like a lot of other people have) the moderators reject it. I’ve tried several forum ideas and all of them have been rejected. The moderators should tell you way they rejected the forum you tried to create, so you will know what to do next time.

I have a lot of LEGO® sets and I enjoy playing on My Lego Network. If the prices were lower I would buy more sets. I would play the games more regularly if they were made with better graphics and allowed you to interact with your surroundings. I also could make forums on the message boards if the moderators gave clear instructions on how they should be done. I think the changes I have mentioned would keep kids coming back, both to play on the sight and buy more sets.
